About
Established in 2019. We specialize in authentic Japanese Mazemen and Ramen. The Mazemen is a soup less noodle trending now in Tokyo. We can not wait for you to join us for this new authentic experience.
Why MAZEMEN? It all goes back to Tokyo and Chef Toshikazu. When Wadaya owner, Tomo, returned to Japan, he began to frequent a mazemen restaurant that was headed by one Chef Toshikazu. The Chef, who has worked in the Japanese restaurant industry for over 15 years, perfected the art and taste of mazemen. Upon eating the Chef's take on mazemen for the very first time, Tomo realized that this culinary treat was a new revolution in taste and aesthetic -- he knew at that moment that mazemen couldn't be contained to one place. Tomo and Chef Toshikazu eventually formed a strong partnership and began to dream about sharing mazemen with the rest of the world, starting in Los Angeles first. Their idea has now been made into reality and here you are! All menus here at Wadaya are made under the Chef's supervision.
